Going Native

A recent challenge from Crusade headquarters led our entire Nebraska Catalytic team to Little Priest Tribal College in Winnebego, Nebraska. Although this college is not one of the eight college campuses we work on, we united as a team in the endeavor to establish a Crusade there. Starting a Crusade on a campus where one has not previously existed can be very challenging. After talking to numerous faculty on campus, God placed two Christian professors in our path. We discovered that the average student enrollment there was approximately 70 students, two of which were probable Christians. We were given a lead to contact a Pastor named Paul who lived in a town nearby. Pastor Paul gave us great insight into not underestimating reaching just one Native American student on campus because building their trust takes a very long time. We learned that Native American family relationships are very tight and extremely extended. Through one contact, we could gain the trust of 50 people in the town of Winnebego. Please pray for Beth, Brady, Chris, and Kristin to find that one student contact through which Christ can be made known at Little Priest Tribal College.
