On most every campus in the state of Nebraska, Campus Crusade has three different dimensions: small groups, outreaches, and weekly meetings. Probably the most prominent part of Campus Crusade on campus is the weekly meeting. It is usually once a week and is a time for fellowship, fun, and the gospel. Many campuses have a worship band who sing a few worship songs, and then there is a time to hear from a student or special speaker. This year, however, Hastings college is trying something a little different. Instead of the focus and attention being placed on the weekly meeting, they have decided to shift focus to small groups. This is done by holding a “monthly meeting” where all of the students involved in small groups can get together, fellowship, and invite new people to their small groups. Hastings College is a private liberal college that needs tremendous amounts of prayer. Satan has a deep stronghold of relativism (believing in numerous ways to heaven and free thought) on the campus. We desperately need to surface new leaders that have a deep desire to reach their campus for Christ. Please be praying for us to find those students will work out.
