Doane College Cru

In the month of November we held a retreat for the Doane College leadership. This time however, we were able to hold it in our own apartment which made it convenient and fun. Not only do we feel that students benefit from the concentrated training during these retreats, but we benefit greatly as well. We as staff get to build relationships with the students, and deepen our love for them as we coach them to reach their campus with the gospel. While we didn’t know what to expect, or how it would turn out being in our own home, God was so gracious. The students at Doane were very teachable as we explored the vision of Campus Crusade, how to share the Gospel, introspective journaling, and what they can do during their inter-term period right after Christmas break. Only a few of our campuses offer this one month period during the beginning of the semester where students only take one or two classes. This time can be wisely used to reach out to individuals who are faced with a lack of activity on campus and are looking for things to do. Please be praying for Doane as they line up events that can give students the opportunity to hear the gospel and for a renewed sense of direction for the student leaders.
